Comparison

Postairo vs Hootsuite

Hootsuite is a social suite: publishing, an inbox, listening and reporting, priced per seat and per social account. Postairo is a publishing and scheduling workspace priced per workspace, with teammates included from the Standard plan. If scheduling is the part you actually use, Postairo is the smaller bill; if you need the inbox and the listening, it is not a replacement.

Hootsuite’s plans change; read the current ones on their pricing page. We deliberately do not quote their prices here, because a number copied into a page goes stale without anyone noticing.

When Hootsuite is the better choice

If your day is spent answering comments and DMs, Hootsuite’s inbox is the product and Postairo has nothing like it. The same goes for brand listening, multi-stage approval chains, and reports built to hand to a client. Postairo covers planning, queuing and reviewing posts, plus the analytics that follow from them — and stops there on purpose.

What Postairo costs

Postairo is in early access and everything is unlocked while it lasts — every channel, every teammate, no card. The plans below are what it will cost when that ends.

  • Basic — $9/month. 5 channels, one person.
  • Standard — $29/month. 20 channels and 3 teammates included.
  • Pro — $59/month. Unlimited channels and teammates.

Questions people ask

Is Postairo cheaper than Hootsuite?
For a small team, usually yes, because the two charge differently rather than by a different amount. Hootsuite bills per seat and moves you up a tier by number of social accounts; Postairo bills per workspace and includes teammates from the Standard plan. Compare your own seat count against both pricing pages rather than a headline figure.
Can I move my scheduled posts from Hootsuite to Postairo?
Not automatically. There is no importer. You reconnect the channels and re-create anything already queued, which is a real cost worth counting before switching.
Which platforms does Postairo publish to?
Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and Pinterest. X and Bluesky are not available yet.
When is Hootsuite the better choice?
When you need a social inbox, brand listening, multi-stage approvals, or reporting you can hand to a client. Postairo is a publishing and scheduling workspace and does not try to be a social suite.
